Waterspout in the Gulf of Mexico near Venice, Florida.  Video taken from Myakka River State Park looking east on June 7, 2013.

A waterspout is an intense funnel-shaped cloud that occurs of a body of water.  They are connected to a towering cumuliform or cumulonimbus cloud.  They are classified as a non-supercell tornado over water.
